The first week

The first week like any job was one filled with many details.

I have learned what the secretary (Joyce) does both for respecting the job she does and also to know what is going on if she calls in sick. Some of the details that she does is working on the office on Tuesdays. She puts the prayer bulletin together for Tuesday Bible Study. On Sunday's she makes sure that the bulletin is ready (90 copies). And she also takes attendance so that we may keep track of those that are missing so we can send them a card or call on them later in the week. This again is so that we may be a family and care for one another in love.

My father (Senior Pastor) prepares messages for Sunday morning, Tuesday morning and then also (when we have them) Sunday nights. Other responsibilities are varied as need varying from weddings to funerals.

These details are important so that I know who is doing what so that we can strengthen each other and glorify God corporately each day we serve together.
